Sony is the company that is 'in trouble' right now, not IOM. Sony has stated they are going through a product line evaluation. Perhaps, just perhaps, they have decided that they do not want to spend the money to re-engineer the HiFud. Perhaps they are visiting Roy UT to try to sell the design, design team, manufacturing facility, etc. associated with the HiFud to the 'standard bearer' in removable storage........ just a wild thought. I mean IOM is buying every other 'removable storage' company at bargain basement prices.....
