JOHN: re <....I heard some Internet stocks were re-classified as small-caps a few days ago, and that has had a great deal to do with the Russell 2000 being higher lately, but that the other fundamentals (small caps as dogs) really havent changed too much...anyone else here this?> I don't think they were "re-classified." What I heard is that many of the smaller banks, which are already IN the R2000, have recently announced internet services, and the frenzy this week is buying internet banking stocks...hence the R2000 runup is probably larger than it would have been.
