Ben, I think that nothing is chipped into stone in this industry and Sony is in trouble right now and I imagine they are looking at ways to make money without investing more R & D money on a problem product. Sony and Iomega are potential competitors, not enemies, so an alliance with both companies would not be out of the question when it would be a Win-Win outcome and Sony would not have to spend additional funds on trying to get the HiFud drive to work. There was even speculation over on the Motley Fool thread this morning about the possible use of Zip drives in a new Mavica camera... so lets see what we hear in the CC tomorrow. MP3 music is going to be a big future development too. Mel
