From CBS Morning Watch I have been reporting on this UK "free" internet offer since it started in the Fall. See how quickly it is turning into an IPO. As I pointed out, it is free with purchases of PC above a certain price. Some of these "free" internet services are being heavily criticised in the UK press. They are charging $1 or more a minute for telephone Help. "Dixons Group, the computer retailer that came up with the brilliant idea of free Internet access for Britain, named CS First Boston to look into a Net spinoff for the unit. Its stock has doubled or so since Jan. 2."
