Herb, I believe this marketing VP has considerable media connections. As you are aware, Valence has declined interviews and avoided the media for a very long time and have focused instead on getting the job done. Just because they have been quiet doesn't mean that they have not been preparing to dominate the industry.

I view the hiring as an indication that Valence is ready for media exposure. When contracts are announced and we return to the 1 or 2 million shares per day volume, there just might be someone available at the company for comments when Paul Kangas calls!
