Power Lunch Today, etc.

Did anyone catch Bill Griffeth's interview about how Burger King plans to change its logo and building appearance (almost a reto-look)? I wrote the following letter to Power Lunch, but thought I'd post it here too.

<<<<I just wanted to comment that, based on my personal experience here in my hometown of Marshalltown Iowa, I don't believe it is necessary for the Burger King management to completely change its logo and building appearance. Here, the local franchise landscaped the grounds, paying special attention to the "plantscaping" of the drivethrough, added a second window to pay on busy days to speed up the process, and most important, built a large children's play area with a ball pit, giant tunnels and slides, etc. They now attract many parents with children, host numerous birthday parties, and also hold school fund-raising nights with school staff acting as servers. They have greatly increased their business share in our community.

Just wish someone would pass that on to the CEO at Burger King!

Thanks.

Sincerely,
Laurie

P.S. The building itself is nice and airy, they have a separate smoking area for adults, the child space is secure from the oustside and they hang nice artwork on the walls.>>>>>

Thanks for the condolences on my being sick. I did indeed catch Cramer this morning; he is a wild man! But I could have sworn I thought I heard.....naaaaahhhhh, must have been a lingering bit of fever from Monday. Oooo, baby!

Now back to taxes---trying not to sit and watch CNBC today---just listen.
