I was a VIP customer at Lombard....after discover took over all hell broke loose...... try going to arbitration with them.....too years later they settled and then have the nerve to tell me they would not let me re-open my account, even if I wanted too. Rude, incompetent, and poor losers to boot. Do not be afraid to go to arbitration...it will take time, but if you are right about what you posted, you will get an award or a settlement eventually. A few brokers who I know there tell me they are way understaffed, are hiring kids right off the street with no trading experience, and they are still signing up new accounts, which of course makes matters worse.....

BTW....their attitude toward clients is commonly summed up in the words Mean Witter

Joel
