john: I could double up on CPQ now and bring my average to $30-31. $23 or lower would be tempting - maybe bring it to $29. But if DELL corrects below $33 it might offer a faster snap back, as might Intel below $50 and many others for that matter, in a correction.

The reasonable passion of this thread motivated Ted to hit that point of EP's credibility probably much harder than EP has ever had it hit before in a public forum. And the thread should take satisfaction from having got through to him like that. I am glad he could use the reference to my stock answers interview to give it a cutting edge. ( I rattled it off without much thought - which says a lot more about his stock answers than it does about my ability). To his credit, EP did say the right thing. He acknowledged the need to earn back the trust. I thought that statement showed more passion than any of his others in the interview.

Strange thing with EP - when you read the transcript of his answers they always seem much better than when he speaks them.

I think this is because he favours prepared points and memories them -perhaps because he is operating in a second language.
