if PC sales are a cyclical problem and Dell, Intel and CPQ have already said that they will have lower growth for the next few quarters, what is the point of holding long or buying to hold at this point?

Tell that to Mr. and Mrs. America. All they know is: Buy DELL, buy LU, buy WCOM, buy CSCO, buy YHOO.

Although, one can argue, a lot of 'em jumped out of DELL a few weeks ago and moved the cash to AOL.
