Why the selloff? A couple of pure guesses:

-- the Street is disappointed in the results turned in by ATHM and SEEK. Both met expectations, but didn't show any huge and unexpected growth.

-- the runup in net stocks prior to the ATHM and SEEK reports was wild. Typical post-report profit-taking was just as wild.

-- many folks are worried that there is a "bubble" and that it will burst some day. Selling programs are designed to dump all sector stocks at any sign of a leak.
