Well, I guess his gold position cost him today. NASDAQ down 3% and BEARX doesn't even break even.

Of course gold will eventually stop falling, just like any other commodity, but I believe gold to be dead money until inflation picks up.

OTOH - I'll admit he may have more insight into this than most people (including 'professionals' and certainly more than me). I hope it works out for him.
