While there might be some truth to what you say, the recent events as far as LSI is concerned, show that most analysts pitched in with their "strong buy" recommendations after the stock had gained 200% from its lows.

When did the first upgrade come about? At 20? OK, maybe that was a good call. As for the rest of them, it is either a herd-like piling on (which doesn't inspire much confidence in those analysts' analytical skills!) or worse, a deliberate attempt to mislead the little guy into thinking this is a raging buy at 30 plus.
