AMD's earning (or lossing?) hisory in last few years:

AMD 1996 1997 1998 1999

Mar $0.07 $0.09 -$0.39 -$0.81
Jun -$0.33 $0.07 -$0.45 ????
Sep -$0.25 -$0.22 $0.01 ????
Dec -$0.15 -$0.09 $0.15 ????

FY -$0.66 -$0.15 -$0.68 -$1.40(estimate).

Well, here is the fact and here is the reality:

AMD has been loosing big $$$ in last three years in an
average rate of -$0.18/share per quarter in last 13 quarters.

Since first quarter 1996, AMD only made 5 positive earning
quarters, including one 1 penny quarter.

Since first quarter 1996, AMD had a whopping 8 losing quarters!
That is 2 wild negative quarters for each mild positive quarter.

Almost very time people, especially new investors, listened and
believed Sander and bought AMD shares suffered losses, big or small.

There are plenty of healthy and financially strong company to put your
$$$ in, why choose a loser.

Remember, when you make a investment, the three most important
factors you must consider:

"management", Management" and "MANAGEMENT".

Please ask yourself, does AMD have a good management?
