edamo, sorry if it looks like I am choir preaching again. I could talk to myself but it is not the same as posting. I am a little impatient with the stock action this year, but it is reasonable given the general outlook by analysts and the way the street thinks (like accountants, not process people). I wonder what it would be like if Dell had to compete against a company like itself rather than the old guard. I really appreciated your finding A. Grove's comments on describing the state of the corporation. There are processes and there are process oriented goals. I like the goal of a business to be in complete control of things that determine the numbers. Like Dell opening new product segments that provide head room for making their growth commitments.
