Congratulations! Your 01Jan55 Dell/presplit, I presume is a call option? The repair strategy I pointed out is for people who sold puts Apr50 on Dell which is deep in the money. Unless they want to be assigned, they can either roll it to May50 or sell CMGI puts and used the funds to close the position of that Apr50 short put.
