Hi.

I own 2500 shares at $18. I also own a lot of TI. My TI has
split three times since I've been a share holder and I'm
amassed many thousands of shares.

So, why can't Atmel do the same. Why can't it split a couple of
times over the next three to four years and end up at $30 or $40.
This would give me 10,000 shares. Why not? Is it worth dreaming
about.

Or, do I look at it as a wait until $40 or $50 stock and sell.
Giving up on Atmel necessarily becoming a long-term growth stock
like a TI. I'd like to hear a case for the long term growth
story or even a case why not. Sooner or later I believe it will
hit $40+ and I'll have to decide.

Any comments or advice?
