webpilot, the only lawsuit I know of was instituted pre-bankruptcy by Milberg-Weiss. I doubt if they've bothered to pursue it. Call Lori Ryan at 1-800-449-4900 and ask her about the status of the case.

I agree with your assessment of the situation. We got punished for recognizing the value of the MMDS spectrum early on, and for trusting CAI management when they said they were pursuing an Internet strategy.

CAI grossly undervalued its spectrum in bankruptcy court, a fact we stated to the court in our letters of protest, but which Judge Farnan apparently ignored. They knew what the September ruling by the FCC for 2-way MMDS meant for the company's valuation, but apparently, he didn't, or didn't want to hear about it.

And having lost thousands in the bankruptcy, I doubt that more than a few CAWS/HART etc. investors dared to risk any more money on these companies post-bankruptcy, considering they returned with the same management in charge. And now they're reaping more millions from a new batch of suckers.
