Dear Terry, Please don't use too many CAPS cause it's interpreted as 'yelling' on-line. I am sure you're not but nobody wants to be misinterpreted; and believe me, that's very to accomplish on-line. :-)

As for, is our ship coming in? Well, from my vantage point at the entrance of the harbour, I see no ship in the thick mist, not even a contour nor mirage. Yet.

The problems, anxiety and excitement a speculative stock like SBX can engender are rather intense, especially for those who are either new to these kinds of penny stocks or even fairly solid plays.

1. What is SBX? Well it's a stock in transition from having nothing to likely having an up and working music retail internet site. They are established with many stores in Canada. They have and are in the midst of making several alliances with for example, altavista canada and billboard.com. What does that mean ultimately. I have no idea?

Do we know whether the final deal with CD-plus will go through? No. Will those alliances make a mega hit of SBX/CD-plus? I have no idea and neither does anyone else. The keys are company management, consistency, vision and an ever-creasing internet population. We will have to evaluate SBX/CD-plus on all those things. We don't have much info at this moment.

However that hasn't stopped people from making the speculation that the internet and IT is the future or the new architecture which brings the social, the intellectual and financial worlds together in ways never dreamt of before. That is the assumption I am making. Who knew that bid.com rose from a penny sock to $30 a share. Will this apply to this stock. Only time will tell.

One thing is for sure, this stock is going to make some wild swings up and down. Regardless. There are day-players, shorters, long-ones, panicky ones, etc. Who should be in this stock?

You need to ask yourself a few questions?

1. Is this money I can loose? (as they say 'some stocks are not for orphans and widows'). SBX falls into that category (massive swings, penny stock, news-dependent).

2. How well do I sleep knowing I bought this penny stock? And are my waking hours somewhat geared towards keeping an eye (nervous one) on this particular stock?

3. Psychology is probably the top 1 key-ingredient in making consistent (relatively) $ in this wild and wooly market.

Ok am off for now, trying to link a virtual private network....it's giving me a huge headache. It does indicate that I believe in this IT stuff. It works (most of the time).
Olga (will check in later)
