You know, in lookingback, the best thing about that tour was the fact we broke down...and had a half dozen extra hours...IN THE SAME BOAT...an island so tospeak at the rest stop....think about that. If I ran a company, I would...OFFER...a TOUR of a MINE...and a rest stop talk center for three hours with soft drinks, newsletter writters and just plain folks atalking and avisiting...with the comforts of shade, rest rooms, and ONE PHONE ( at $2 bucks a min!)( after we got ho,me and got the bill). Funny....but sometimes BAD is GOOD.

P.S.- We built the claim group with the core of these folks, that is a fact. My wife said that I could never of done it without the fact that that trip meant that I met these folks. I agree with her. She said something about common interest and the fact that ...well, they looked in my eyes and I looked in theirs. That was befor the sitcom "Friends" aired- we were at that place by accident, not by script; but even a scripted breakdown might allow a look into everyone eyes, rather than just the acres, the metals and the machinery. A mine tour is a terrible thing to waste. I think that a planned Gimmie-a-Breakthannobreakdown would be better than none. I will arrange a favorite rest stop for the Maxam Tour....Harrahs'Casino. I took a bath in their restroom, almost, after a flat tire at/by Lost Horse Peak- I left a WINNER!

PS- I drank a Rasberry ice Tea This Week...I drink my first one at Peoria 7 in 1997...Dale Runyon bent over and handed it up to me- befor that - I never had a Rasberry one. Really. See, that is part of what I was getting at. The waterhole story of Dale in his trips by LHP is another...and ...the Vekol valley Ranch as the New House Builder ...well- some other time..Dale can finish that story at the Next Maxam Tour. This is Spring, a rebirth time now.
