<< There was an F-117 that the Serbs claimed they shot down and denied. But, gosh, then suddenly there were pictures of it. >> That isn't the free news that is doing the denying, it is the US government and NATO! When I first heard the story, I assumed that the Serbs shot down the plane. They also showed the Serb, government controlled news releases. What did you expect the free news to do with this story? And later, that same free news brought us the story that, indeed, it appeared as the F-117 was shot down. << There were those Albanians moderates who were murdered by the Serbs, but gosh, after we had wrung our hands over their terrible deaths then suddenly they magically showed up alive. >> This is a moot point right now, since the Serbs are murdering so many innocent people, but, once again, the news was reporting what appeared to be true, and then when it was found to be not true, the free news reported the correction. In this fast moving war in Kosovo, the news reports what it sees and hears. If the news had to totally verify every story in a war like atmosphere, nothing would ever be reported. On the other hand, all of the Serbian news is filtered thru the government. Which kind of news would you prefer. Do you want all US news to be filtered thru our government before it is shown to the people? << Their houses were burned by the Serbs, but magically they got restored to perfect condition in only two days. >> Hey, come on! There were so many Kosovo homes being burnt to the ground, sometimes with people in them, that this story was very believable. A free press always corrects the news after it finds out that reports were incorrect. << There were three American soldiers who were abducted from Macedonia, only oops, later we had to admit that it appeared they had invaded Yugoslavian territory after all. Invaded? You mean that these three American soldiers were going to invade and take over Kosovo single handed? Although I'll admit to the skills and dedication of our soldiers, it's hard for me to believe your version of this story. << There was that train that at first was a purely military target, but oops, now we admit there were civilians on it. >> Now you are being unfair. The very first reports were that we hit a passenger train. And, once again, our free news showed the terrible event over and over again. My God, you've written a long note! Oh well..... to be continued..... end of part 1.
