[OT] Thanks Frank. My profile is more a statement of how comical I think it is to pass judgement based on one's SI profile, than anything else. Profiles are a completely unauthenticated bio, and people can say anything (and many do!). I've come across several PhD's that know scant little but wow people with buzzwords and have an impressive profile. They get themselves a nice following of lemmings that follow their every word.

I never would have expected that anyone would use the profile as a pass/fail criteria of whether to consider the content of one's posts worthwhile. I guess "image" is more important than substance (but that's obvious from the stock market these days too :o)). Steve Harmon comes to mind in that light.

It's funny because I've been meaning to delete all the files linked into my profile to free up some disk space. Maybe I should replace the links with a list of several degrees, professional acronyms, list the 10 hottest stocks of the past few months as my favorites, and say I'm a professional internet analyst (whatever that is) :o).

I also don't quite understand why SPS thought that was my personal story. I thought I made that clear thru the citations it was briefing.com's story.
