Actually linux is an interesting topic, ag, and worthy of consideration on this thread (many long term msft holders and quite a few that dislike Mr. Softee). What other software is available for linux? I doubt that Microshaft has made it easy to use Word or Excel with an alien operating system. Is WordPerfect a viable alternative? I haven't used it in years. Bottom line, I think Gates has surrounded himself with a lot of talented folks, and that they would only do better in the face of competition, particularly if it isn't competition backed by the doj.
