Joel, I appreciate your comments and understand where you are coming from. You may think it was a waste of time but I don't. It only took me an hour and a half at most. Changing brokers is a big hassle. I could spend days trying to finding a good match, checking them out, then making the change. If there is any chance that I can effect some change in Discover then it is worth the effort. If we all take the attitude that what I say does not matter, then I can guarantee you they will keep on doing the same thing. Take a look at this site. astro.lsa.umich.edu Find me one brokerage without some problem or policy which someone does not like. And you really don't have any idea whether the comments are true or not. Another site that tracks response time and availability of online brokerages: keynote.com Discover has managed to fall to the bottom of the pack. Response time is well off of January's times. When you change brokerages you may find yourself merely changing frying pans. Yes, I don't like what Discover is doing but at least I have a pretty good idea of what they do and don't do very well. If I can find something better, I'm gone. Regards, Jim
