Hi Sammie - this is a partial list of the spelling errors on the Babe Ruth web site: baberuthleague.org

bassball
cassetts
collectable
Communictions
conjuction

And the worst:

===================================================================
Compact Connection <<<=======

An approved fundraising program offering a music card to purchases CDs and cassetts.
===================================================================

I'm pretty sure that Nextar Communications doesn't like being referred to as Nextar Communictions.

I don't know if TSIG.com provides any kind of oversight on the Babe Ruth web site - but I think these errors should not be ignored and laughed off. It certainly doesn't help to portray a professional image to have a web site full of spelling errors - especially "bassball" vice "baseball" on a web site dealing with baseball.

This is a copy of a suggestion of mine that was forwarded up to Rob Gordon several months ago on February 7, 1999 about this very issue - ie. spelling mistakes on the Babe Ruth web site:

My e-mail:

2/7/99 (1) Before any new web site is put up - ensure that a simple diagnostic check is performed to check for obvious errors. I sincerely hope that Cohesive was not responsible for putting up the thebabecard.com web site because the spelling errors are embarrassing
- at least to me. I found two different web sites today where simple
diagnostic checks can be performed on any web site. The tools are
available (probably much better than what I found below) - they just
need to be utilized.

siteinspector.linkexchange.com

websitegarage.com

Regards,

phil.com

P.S. I'm very excited about TSIG's future - but I just wish the same mistakes would not be repeated repetitively. :~)
