I bought my first CD over the Internet a week ago after listening to an entire CD via Broadcast.com. I guess I felt guilty for going back to that CD again and again for free. It took about three days to get the CD and it cost about $3 to ship it to me. In this case shipping represented nearly 20% of the cost. I was a bit disappointed when I put the CD into my computer and played it through my Monsoon speakers. The CD did not sound any better than it did when I was having it piped in through the Internet. The only advantages are that I don't have those annoying interruptions that you get when there is a lot of traffic on the Internet and I can turn the volume up about three times louder. I sure am glad I liked all of the songs on the CD.

I think downloading music from the Internet is going to be much faster than waiting for the CD to arrive through the mail.

However, I am sure that most people will not be able to notice any difference between the sound over the Internet and the sound of MP3 or a2bmusic.com, or PAC.

So, it may come down the the player that stores the most in the least amount of space.

Maybe it will come down to the Web site that can download music the fastest.
