The click/stream seems the same in win/98/95. Went to acceleration, was on full, moved it down 1 notch, checked Device Manager, no yellow exclamation marks. Restarted, went to nscp download page, frooze!<sp?>

Reset, after loading Desktop the modem was still open. After a couple Connect/Cancels it disconnected. Back to nscp, frooze again.

Will fiddle with changing modems tomorrow and try and locate problem.

Thanks mr.mark, G/Nite Mates'

ps; Mr.mark, went back and set Acceleration full left (none) went to nscp, logged on and am now downloading nscp 4.51 at 3.2k per sec.
Keeping fingeres crossed!

Thanks a million! /jw
