I think that Ebay ought to be putting its highest priority on acting as a bank between transactions, and taking microhits out of each one. They should tie up with a Net-savvy bank that will handle it in an easy-to-do, easy-to-understand, and attractively designed way.It wouldn't have to declare that users MUST use the Ebay payment system, but it really should offer it as an option to those that want it.

And I imagine that there are a HUGE amount of people--probably the majority--who would appreciate it, rather than the hassle of sending checks, setting up a visa-accepting system, and other time and money-consuming hassles. It would vastly increase the audience, I think

For all I know they may be working on this right now--I certainly hope so. This would really help fuel growth.
