John - this thread was started by Tom Becker - look at the introduction - as for the concept of 'majority rules' you might think of the saying 'in the land of the blind ------------------' I can recall a time not far back during all the Clinton business when the Webmistress (or was it Master/) suggested that the whole thread was getting off topic - we seem to be getting there again. I'm glad you got all those private messages of support - which I agree with as you know. But there are certain topics which only cause angst - religion and politics being the two which come to mind here - also race. There are a few people here who actually post about gold - Alex for one,and Hutch - much as we've disagreed - but only over his unwavering sense of certitude. There are quite a few others - but it's not me who should be starting a thread about gold - it's others who should start another thread about the horrors of war - collateral damage, etc. None of this has one whit to do with the POG d
