B: Sound Source Interactive Signs Licensing Deal With Polygram to Produce Maisy
Interactive Software Based On Popular Children's Character, Books and TV Series

CALABASAS, CALIF. (April 15) BUSINESS WIRE -April 15, 1999--Sound Source
Interactive Inc. (Nasdaq:SSII) announced that it has signed an
exclusive licensing deal with Polygram, now owned by Universal Studios,
for the creation of children's interactive software featuring the
lovable character Maisy(tm) from the highly acclaimed children's book
series.

The agreement includes the rights for CD-ROMs, DVD and Sony
PlayStation. Maisy books have been translated into more than 15
different languages, and the animated Maisy TV series recently debuted
on Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. block in the coveted spot between the two hit
series "Rugrats" and "Blue's Clues."

Maisy, the phenomenally popular British literary character, is cute,
child-like and full of fun. She's also confident, self-sufficient and
friendly. Maisy is actively involved with her world, gently encouraging
children in the same direction.

Her approach to life is just that little bit different, discovering
alternative ways of seeing, doing and playing which will delight and
entertain children while helping them to become independent thinkers
and "doers."

"We are thrilled to be the exclusive interactive licensee for Maisy(tm),
" said Patricia Brown, senior vice president, New Business Development
for Sound Source Interactive. "Children will love playing with Maisy, a
wonderful character new to American television.

"Kids can strengthen critical early learning skills with our new Maisy
CD-ROMs, and at the same time, parents can feel comfortable using the
new software to introduce their young children to ideas about
self-sufficiency, self-esteem and social interaction," said Brown.
