Heinz, With ASIA improving, I do agree that the basic materials will improve. My comment was on a short-term move which I mentioned. The analyst did have a valid point and he also felt that it would improve. Does one want to trade future fundamentals or current fundamentals, assuming he is correct on the fundamentals. Granted the HiTechs/Internets/etc have been trading at forward fundamentals, so the basic materials could also. The HiTechs/Internets have been doing that for months now since the OCT lows, but can that same type of forward fundamental trading last as long for the basic materials last that long. My position is that it wont last that long, that not to say that they wont improve. Please keep in mind I am talking about short-term moves. seeya
