I agree. Although ABC is not doing so well now, it is obviously a major "portal" of broadcasting and therefore irreplaceable. It wasn't that long ago that ABC was the king. I don't think for a minute that those days will return. Every network goes through cycles of being the top dog. We will return, no doubt.
