Edamo, **OT** Stk is in the tape storage business. Emc is in the disk storage business. A number of years ago, Stk tried to enter into the disk storage business and developed a RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) storage product. They tried to compete against Emc and got killed. Stk finally struck a deal with Ibm wherein, Stk would private label the RAID for Ibm and Ibm would than market the product. That's the extend of Stk entry into the disk storage market. So, today, I just don't think there's any relationship between the two companies...except, if the storage sales in general are declining, than disk and tape systems my both be impacted. This is the only tie that I can see between the two companies.
