George,

Thank you for your opinion. Technically, I see nothing wrong with this pull back. When I say long term, I mean 5-10 years. I don't think this bank is going to be as hard to deal with as you think. Personally, I like the 3.5-4.5% paid on checking balances. Have you looked at money market rates lately? I find that with a debit card, I really have very little reason to carry cash with me. $100-$200 will last me for a month or more. A cost of $1.50 to get my cash needs filled is more than offset by the free bill payer feature.

With my paychecks on automatic deposit I also find that I really have no reason to go to a bank at all. They don't give away toasters anymore so why see real people? My normal bank charges me $15 to receive a wire from my broker, so I am ahead of the game all the way around.

If you look at the 10K you will see that income is up over 100% in 1998 with most of the increase during the last 2 Q's. This tells me that 1999 will show me a 200% increase over 1998 or more. Those kinds of increases would make Warren Buffet proud.

As I said, with a long term outlook this good and swings as big as these, I will be OK here. It's not like I paid 1000 times 5 year out earnings like some internuts have. Call me in 5 years and I'll take you out on my yacht.<GG>
