InfoCast Appoints George P. Shafran to its Board of
Directors

TORONTO, April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- InfoCast Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: IFCC) ("InfoCast"
or the "Company") announces the appointment of George P. Shafran of McLean, Virginia to the Board
of Directors and the completion of the previously announced financing.

Mr. Shafran has accepted an appointment to the InfoCast Board of Directors. Mr. Shafran founded the
Realty Programming Corporation, an international real estate marketing company with members in all 50
states and the Caribbean. Currently President of Geo. P. Shafran & Associates, Inc., a management,
marketing and investment consultants company, he also serves as Senior Consultant for the High
Performance Group and as an associate with the Technical Analysis Corporation. Mr. Shafran serves on
the President's Legislative Council of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and is vice-chairman of the Board
of The Heritage Bank. A former member of the Virginia General Assembly, Mr. Shafran was the
Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor in 1971. President Reagan appointed him in June of 1981
to the President's Commission on Housing. Finance Chairman for Senator John Warner, Mr. Shafran
also served as finance chairman for Senator Dole when he sought the Republican presidential nomination
in 1980. He is currently on the executive board of Congressman Tom Davis (11th District of VA.), and
serves on the advisory board of Lt. Gov. of Virginia Hager and Virginia Delegate Jack Rust.

The Company's recently completed private placement financing raised, net to the Company,
US$4,548,500 and results in 18,172,333 shares being issued and outstanding after giving effect to the
shares issued in the private financing.
