I don't use my real name because occasionally I post on my employer's thread, and that employer has a strict policy against employee posting. Yeah, it's totalitarian, but what am I gonna do? It's not a hill worth dying on.

After I change jobs, which won't be too long from now, perhaps I'll post under my real name.

How do you know the "real names" are actually the people's real names?
