INTERGOLD CORPORATION (OTC BB-IGCO) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Newport Beach, California April 15, 1999
INTERGOLD CORPORPORATION FURTHER 5-FOOT ASSAY RESULTS
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Intergold Corporation ("the Company") announces two further drill core results with respect to their drilling program on the Blackhawk property 38 miles north of Twin Falls in the State of Idaho. To date, six of the eight vertically drilled 500' HQ cores have been assayed at 5-foot intervals. Assaying was conducted by AuRIC Metallurgical Laboratories and detailed results are presented for Cores 98C-22 and 98C-1 below. Note, each of the eight cores drilled to date in the mineralized zone remain open at depth. As a result, the Company will be exploring some locations of the zone to depths greater than 500' in its upcoming drilling program in an attempt to determine the vertical extent of the gold and silver bearing rock.
The average grade of each core at 5-foot intervals is provided in the summary table below. Averages provided are based on 100 assays over the entire length of the core. Many areas of each core have sections with values much higher than the total average for each core. To date, the highest assay values were reported in core 98C-25. Core 98C-25 reported average assay values of .838 OPT over an 85' section of the core from 300' to 385' with individual assay values as high as 2.822 OPT. The consistency and yield of assay results to date will help direct and define the Company's spring drilling program.
