To me this would indicate a buying opportunity, because the fundamental factors driving investment in the internet sector have not changed. Yahoo is just as cool as it was three days ago, Amazon is still selling a lot of books, and the dream is still alive. Greater Fool, I agree with this. Candidly, I hate these stocks. I almost lost my shirt (literally) last year shorting AMZN. The volatility permits decent gains on the long side. I am afraid to short now. There no "real" fundamentals so nothing is different today than it was last month, etc.
