On low bandwidth:

g.chow posted a message on Bryan's thread concerning this topic and I'ld like to add to it. There was a reason I spent a lot of time on Yahoo! and dreaded having to load up a CBS page: the former has pages with little clutter which load very quickly while the latter has so much stuff in the header that I'm already turned from reading the news article by the time it starts loading. Well, the news section of SI reminds me of the CBS site. I don't use it because the header takes forever to load.

While I'm on the subject of news, I unfortunately still use Yahoo for the latest news. The reason is that when one accesses a portfolio at that site, the 5 most recent news headers of each stock in the portfolio appear at the bottom. It makes reading up on what is happening in one sector, or how other industries are doing compared to others very efficient. I would like SI portfolios to have the same feature. At the very least, cut down on the graphics in the news section.

Regards,

Dany
