Richard: I agree and I disagree. In this situation, I'm particularly concerned about toxicity to complement your concerns of funnel breadth. However, I feel that it is important that new targets are being discovered, and that molecules that target them are being tested. Most scientists, much less investors, don't understand that current drugs effect a very small number of targets. Take a look at the nature of the early-stage work that is making the list and the research infratructures that they are originating from? Why do I like phase I/II? Just my style.... I muck down in the third-tier, looking for big-bang stocks. It works. Hasn't worked particularly well since 10/97, however. Hey! I also mentioned the news last weekend from CNTO (stroke) and BCHE (chopped liver). Vote for them! Or, alternatively, start your own "biotech news, impacting the sector going forward, nothing innovative". ;-) Rick
