SI admin, please incorporate an Ignore/squelch feature which would allow anyone to ignore a particular alias..

The ignore could cover all SI boards or one single board and private messages as well.

- many less sophisticated chat sites incorporate such a feature, so this is technically feasible

- such a feature would preclude the need for SI staff to police / babysit the thousands of daily posts

- also, SI could register squelches and ignores for a particular alias as a type of negative feedback rating. If a particular alias were to accumulate a certain level of ignores and squelches from independent/unique sources (other members), then that alias might be flagged for SI admin review to see if that account should be terminated/ or warned of the negative impact it is having on the si community

unrelated note.. SI could use some better charting features.. I think www.bigcharts.com is a good example.

btw, my chemistry is a bit rusty...is hydrogen a form of hot air?
