Thanks for all the responses everyone. Misery loves company as they say. The thing that irks me is that I was getting ready for this. I talked with a friend at length on Tuesday evening about taking profits the next day on alot of my positions. The problem was I got pulled away by an emergency in the morning and had to go to a business lunch after that. I didnt have time to set stops or do anything. When I got back after lunch and looked at my screen yesterday I just couldnt believe it. By that time it was really too late for me to do anything and I just decided to hold and even buy a few things with the little cash I had in my portfolio. I have been thinking long and hard about quitting my job to trade and I am convinced I could do it. By being able to babysit everything this wouldnt have happened to me (or at least not as bad). My job cost me 2/3 of my annual salary in about 36 hrs. Burns me up. Anyway, it is what it is. I am holding the following just waiting for a comeback: VRIO, AWRE, USWB, BYND, GBLX, NSOL, NAVR, DGV WS, BVSN, BKS, MSFT, TBFC, SVRN. Mostly May call options. Several of these are reporting earnings soon and I am expecting good things. The only one of these positions I regret taking is SVRN, which I did purely on momentum (got in a limit order before I had to go yesterday morning.) Otherwise I like the stocks I am holding. Just wish I was buying them at these levels rather than just holding them here. Hopefully this correction will be through by tomorrow.
