Adam, Does your wording imply that your $400 PC is $400 for hardware only, and doesn't include an O/S or apps? You can buy an E-Machines PC for $299 with Windows 95/98. No $995 software packages are included. E-Machines has quickly moved into the top 5 OEMs. It should give you an indication of where PC prices are headed. Scumbria
