Doug: WS doesn't like Eric B.-Stupid but this is one major reason. If WS street quantified the true value of COMS without using their negative personal feelings towards Eric B. in their formula or formulas, they will find a very very valuable company. Especially, if WS analysts do some quantitative analyst on the Palm unit, they will find an ADDED VALUE in the stock. My opinion, they have not factored in the value of Palm unit alone. My recommendation would be to split the company. Again,my opinion, 3COM is a hidden sleeping little company/(ie...jewel) ready to explode. Some major corporation will start seeing this value and their current initiatives towards the Millennium.
