Gobble, Gobble, Gobble,...russett has been busy lowering his cost base,...buying stock under $5.00.

People are scared of SAf because of perceived racial problems and what's happening up North of them. SAf borders are secure,...and the big city problems of crime and violence are formidable, but being addressed, as in any North American city. The middle class is expanding, and the problems of the poor (housing, education, medical etc.,) are slowly being alleviated.

Fact is the problems in SAf are little different from those in California or Florida or any other North American population center. The people in power know capitalism well,...and the laws are changing to favor increased mining and exploration. Trade unions are asking a lot, and the Blacks clearly want to join in on the exploitation of the abundance of wealth in the country. I don't blame them.

SAf resources have been unexploited by the mining companies there for years,...DeBeers comes to mind. Now the government is moving to a "use it or lose it policy", with higher taxes for sitting on land, similar to North America rules. Good news for companies like SUF and Placer Dome, who can take advantage of the changing rules.

Thanks Commission Direct!!
