100% is protection for lvlt as rcnc is its principal home-access buildout partner (synergistic) and telco/isp/cable. about a month ago, someone floated this rumor on one of the two threads to which i responded much as those here are doing now. the person private messaged me info supporting the rumor and indicated it was simply being discussed. the possibility of a hostile takeover of rcn as it builds out increases and cash flow also is a limit to that buildout. it may be that both companies would benefit long haul by merging now. minority stake may not be enough for lvlt.
