Dan, I use Cybertrader. I think Cyberexchange is Cybercorp's version of Etrade, but I am not exactly sure. I have used Cybertrader since last October. I am very pleased with Cybertrader, but I have never used any other trading platform so I cannot make comparisons.
From what I have read and heard, I think that Cybertrader is one of, if not the, best trading platform there is for the daytrader. If you are only a part time trader, or if you lean more toward position trading, then it is probably more than you need. However, for daytrading, Cyber's execution and cancel speeds can't be beat. Speed, access and numerous decision support tools are Cybertrader's strengths. They have recently added some upgrades that I think make the software almost flawless.
We did have some trouble with servers in January, but that is resolved. The charts are good but not perfect, and this seems to be an area that needs further improvement. This month has been great with Cyber. They have improved several things that customers had asked them to. And the thing I like about them is that they are constantly trying to improve. You can tell that the people who run Cyber really want their software to be the best, and that benefits me.
Please realize that I am biased. I have had a very good experience with Cybertrader. Don't get me wrong, there have been a few frustrating days when problems occurred, but that is not the norm. January was trying, but things are back on track now. You might want to read the Cybertrader thread to get a better idea about what folks like and don't like about Cybertrader. Hope I was able to help.
