Hi Wren,

Sometime ago in November, 1998 I noticed a message on this board between you and a fellow named JIM. Seems than Jim had taken the position that Meditrust was going to eliminate the dividend. I wonder what Jim's and your feelings are now that the dividend is now established at $1.84. The current price of MT is now 12 1/4 which makes for a yield of 15%. I can't help but ask "WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE". Here we have inflation dead and interest rates on CDs at 5%, I can't understand why with such a high dividend MT is still at a low in its overall price performance. One would think that a reasonable price with this dividend would be about 19 or 20.

Would appreciate your views!
