Can someone explain why Antler and Winspear had to amalgamate to get control? I would think that between the two they could have outvoted Aber(57% vs. 43%, isn't it?), so when it is said that the merger was to gain control, I don't get it. Page 5 of the circular sets forth the purpose of amalgamation, and it doesn't mention control. Has a myth developed about control being the reason for the merger, or have I missed something (always a distinct possibility)?
