Revenues for the first quarter of 1999 were $16.1 million, up 67 percent from the $9.6 million reported in the first quarter of 1998, and up 18 percent from the $13.6 million reported in the fourth quarter of 1998. Net income for the first quarter of 1999 was $3.3 million, or $0.10 per share, versus net income of $1.3 million, or $0.04 per share, for the first quarter of 1998, and net income of $2.9 million, or $0.09 per share, for the fourth quarter of 1998.

The company achieved record revenue of $71.9 million, an increase of 84% over last year's first quarter revenue of $39.1 million. License revenue increased 82%, while net income rose to $13.6 million from $9.1 million for the same period in fiscal year 1998.
