Just got off the phone with Scwab and got bad news. Unless you sign up with PCQuotes ($600/month) they will not give you reduce commission rates. With PCQuotes any trade below $40,000 cost you a flat rate of $30 and any trade over $40,000 cost you a flat rate of $40.

However without PCQuotes:

For trades between $10,000 and $40,000 they charge you .25% and for trades greater than $40,000 they charge you .125%. Most of my blue chip flips are for 500-1500 shares costing $30,000-$70,000.

With Greenline a thousand shares worth $70,000 would cost me $58 round trip. With Scwab it would cost me $180 round trip.

I like Canada Stockwatch and don't want to switch to PCQuotes but I also can't stay with Greenline a minute longer. I also refuse to use a broker without stops. I feel like I am between a rock and a hard place.

Best Regards
KEITH
